Engine 1751, with its engineer Wayne, a General Motors’ Electro-Motive Division GP-9 built in the 1950’s disconnects from the train to do a runaround on the Valley Train and begin the trip back to the station on the Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway, New Hampshire on September 4, 2021. The railroad operates vintage rail equipment from the steam era to the diesel era and gives people a chance to see what it was like to ride trains during the golden era of train travel.
