Kiwanian John Mattuchio said he and the Kiwanis members do a lot of charity in the city, especially by way of the impoverished youth. He said funds through charities and donations are used each year to fund multiple programs for Everett’s youth, including 10 scholarships for needy children and summer programs that teach and promote inter-personal skills and relations as well as culinary arts.

He said programs like Everett’s Kiwanis are meant to provide for the youth with the hope they return and give back as well. He said, “We help fill the gaps the government has let fall through the cracks”.

All the Kiwanians enjoyed a full course meal of Italian treats quite beyond compare in the city at Abbodanza Monday evening.
