Auto Mechanic for the Massachusetts DPW
LAVENIA, Charles J. of Concord, NH, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the Concord VNA Hospice House in Concord, New Hampshire. He was 94 years old.
Charlie was born in Lawrence and lived in Everett for many years before settling in New Hampshire. He was retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Public Works, Wellesley where he worked as an auto mechanic servicing and repairing the large engine equipment.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth F. (Piccione). Dear and devoted father of Maryann S. Lavenia of Derry, NH and the late Susan Nicolosi. Brother of the late Alfred and Philip Lavenia, Mary D’Urso, Josephine Sweazey, Lena Thomas and Rita Cappucci. Loving grandfather of Aries, Jason and Nicholas and great-grandfather of Domenic and Julia. Private graveside services with U.S. Army Military Honors were held for Charles at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
