The Everett High School football team received a beautiful trophy from The Boston Globe for finishing the 2017 season as the No. 1 ranked team in the Globe Top 20. The Crimson Tide began the season as the top-ranked team in the Globe rankings, and that’s where they stayed. EHS never trailed in any of its 11 games as it completed a perfect season with a win over Xaverian in the Div. 1 State Championship at Gillette Stadium, the school’s 12th under head coach John DiBiaso.
