Armchair Travel

The Everett Public Libraries, in partnership with the Everett Haitian Community Center, continue their Armchair Travel program to Haiti in celebration of Haitian Flag Day. All from the comfort of your local library.

The event will take place at the Shute Memorial Library on Tuesday, May 15th at 7:00 pm upstairs in the main library. Refreshments will be served in the Shute Meeting Room thanks to the Everett Haitian Community Center and the Friends of the Everett Public Libraries. All library programs are free and open to the public.

On Saturday, May 19th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm the Parlin Library will host the Haitian Heritage Art Expo, in the Adult and Teen areas. Immerse yourself in the rich and complex art of Haiti. Experience the many-layered influences of African, Indigenous American and European roots.

For more information contact the Parlin Information desk at 617-394-2302 or call the Shute Library at 617-394-2308.
