A small 2-family home and second small lot at 2 and 4-6 Williams Street have been sold for over $1 million and mortgaged for $1.142 million, according to records provided to the Leader Herald by Banker and Tradesman.
Recordings made last week at the Southern Middlesex Register of Deeds reveal that Williams Place LLC and Williams Street Investments were the buyer of 4-6 Williams Street and 2 Williams Street respectively.
The sale price amounted to $1,030,000.
The properties were then mortgaged by the Hingham Institute for Savings for $1,142,000.
This would represent one of the highest prices paid for a 2-family home in the city’s history, and indicates, as we have been pointing out, the tremendous rise in real estate values throughout the city.
The second highest recorded sale in Everett last week was a 2-family home at 75 Baldwin Avenue.
The buyers, Siddhartha Lama and Anita Ghale-Lama paid $705,500 to the sellers Philiip J. Pesce and Elizabeth Peace.
The two family is on a 7,244 square foot lot.
