More of the same all over city in walk down real estate road

According to Banker and Tradesman, last week was just another week in the life and times of Everett’s soaring real estate marketplace.

Here’s a quick look at last week’s transactions and what they mean.

A 3-family on a 3,868 square foot lot at 26 Birch Street went for $775,000.

Finance America gave a mortgage to the buyers for $581,260. In 2014, the property sold for $460,000.

A 2-family at 28 Carlson Street fetched $655,620 with a mortgage to the buyers for

$633,738. Prior sale in 2012 for $300,000.

A 1-family at 28 County Road on a 12,715 square foot lot sold for $962,000.

The Hingham Savings Bank gave the buyer a $450,000 mortgage.

A 3-family at 100 Madison Avenue on a 3,559 square foot lot sold for $681,000. Leader Bank NA gave a mortgage to the buyers for $510,750.

In the non-purchase mortgage division this week there was only one whopper: a $2,300,000 loan to the International Church on Bucknam Street – 185 Bucknam-Unit 185.
