LENEHAN, Claire F. (White) Of Wakefield, formerly of Everett, Tuesday, July 17, 2018. Claire passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of James C. of 59 years. Loving mother of Ann Cain and her husband Kevin of Wake eld, Kathleen of Wake eld, Julie Panzini and her husband Patrick of Malden, Claire Sacramone and her husband Anthony of Peabody and the late James C. Daughter of the late Alphonsus and Mary (Walsh) White. Sister of Margaret Cafarelli, Mary Young, the late Ann Lemieux, Margaret Soucy, Thomas and John White. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Meaghan, James, Abigail, Lauren, Mark, Kelly, Leah, and one great grandchild, Rileigh.

When a Parking Lot is More Than a Parking Lot

There was quite a bit of rational discussion and debate before the Planning Board about a parking lot to be located across from the casino.

The parking lot, according to company officials, is designed to reduce traffic.

Two planning Board members, however, questioned the logic of this assertion made boisterously by John Tocco.

Member Leo Pizzano, Jr. said he wondered how the 800 or so people who park a car in this lot across the street from the casino were going to get to the casino.

Encore Career Information Fair Set for August 8

Encore Boston Harbor, in conjunction with the City of Everett, will hold a career information fair on Wednesday, August 8th. The fair will take place at the Connolly Center and will have two times; 9AM- 11AM and 6PM-8PM.

Everett residents have top priority for the more than 4,100 jobs available at Encore. Careers are available at all levels. The Mayor encourages all residents to attend to learn what it’s like to work at Encore and talk to people who will help you find the right job.
