ROBERT EDINS

Veteran, Accountant, Lifelong Everett Resident

Robert R Edins 86, passed away on August 24, 2018 at the Kaplan House in Danvers after a brief illness. Robert was born on October 13, 1931 in Boston one of three children of the late Horace and Irene (Falcitano) Edins.

Robert was a lifelong Everett resident; he graduated from Everett High School Class of 1949. Bob joined the United States Army at the age of 21 and proudly served in the Korean War, earning the rank of Corporal.

After serving his country, he continued his education and graduated from Bentley College. He was self- employed and he worked as an accountant.

He was the son of the late Horace and Irene (Falcitano) Edins and the brother of Dorothy Knowles of Wales, UK and his late brother William Edins of Florida. He is also survived by his nephew, William Edins of Florida. He was member of Malden VFW and previously served as past Chaplain and treasurer of the Everett Allied Veterans.

A Graveside Service was held with full military honors in Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday with Reverend Brian Gearin former pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements by the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett.
