Paul Mietus passed away Sept 25 at the Whidden Hospital. Paul was one of three children of the late Alfred and Mary (Pokornick) Mietus. Paul was born on June 25, 1947 in New Bedford.
Paul lived in New Bedford and Fairhaven before moving to Everett many years ago. He was a graduate of Fairhaven High School and Franklin Institute of Boston. He also served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.
Paul was the brother of Alfred T Mietus and Maryann Rindone and her husband John both of Everett. He is also survived by many cousins. A Funeral Mass was held in St. Mary’s Church 440 Main St. Fairhaven, MA. Interment followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford. Arrangements by The Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett. In lieu of flowers donations in Paul’s name should be made to the Immaculate Conception Church 489 Broadway Everett, MA 02149.
