Marie A. (Christoforo) Santora a longtime resident of Everett, passed away with
her loved ones at her side, on Tuesday afternoon, October 16, 2018, she was 86. Marie was born in Everett in 1932, the loving daughter of Ernest and Mary (Lepore) Christoforo. She was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1950.

Marie worked at Disco, a record store in Everett where she compiled a collection of great music and posters for her children. She also worked at Schrafft’s Candy in Charlestown before she pursued her long 22 year career with the Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Marie loved shopping for clothing, as she was always on top of the current trends and dressed her children in the best, getting many compliments from their teachers as being best dressed children. Marie loved music, dancing, cooking, family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved children, her son Ernest Santora and his wife Kathleen and her daughter Maryellen Sheehan and her daughter in-law Rachel Santora. Marie’s cherished grandchildren EJ, Angela, Liza, Danielle, Eva, and Jillian. Marie was preceded in death by her first-born loving son “Johnnie” Santora. Marie was the dear sister of the late Theresa Feldman and Anthony Christoforo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a prayer service in the Weir- MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden, on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018 at 11AM. Visiting hours will be two hours prior to the service from 9-11AM. Interment to follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
