Rita (Frongillo) Lewis, 89, formerly of Everett, died peacefully on Nov. 4 at Chapel Pointe retirement community in Carlisle, Pennsylvania after a brief illness.
Her children, Richard of Carlisle PA, Joyce (Laidley) of Everett MA and Arlene (Maruzzi) of Fort Myers FL, Wayne of Salem NH, were at her side during her nal days. Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Alfred C. Lewis, Jr., daughter Maureen (Christopher), brothers Michael, Joseph and Robert Frongillo, and sisters Gloria (Finos) and Evelyn (DeAngelis), and grandson, Jude Lewis. In addition to her children, she is survived by her sisters Millie (Reppucci), Marie (Tozzi), Irene (Romeo) and Lillian (Summers), grandchildren Santino DeGregorio, Micayla (DeGregorio) Ciccone, Janel DeGregorio , Pasquale
DeGregorio, Andrew Lewis, Eric Lewis, Stephen Lewis, Michael Laidley, Shawn Penney and James Christopher, and many great-grandchildren.
A private service was held at Chapel Pointe, followed by cremation, in accordance with her wishes. In lieu of flowers, cheer for the Patriots, as she always did.
