The Everett High School football team capped a 10-win season with a 32-0 shutout of Masconomet on Thanksgiving.

The Crimson Tide, who were defeated in the Div. 1 North semi nals earlier in the month, rebounded with impressive wins over Acton-Boxboro and Masco, as the program reached double digits in wins for the 13th time since 2006.

The win marked Everett’s third consecutive Thanksgiving victory over Masconomet in a brief series that will likely end next year when the Crimson Tide (10-1) join the Northeastern Conference in football.

EHS recorded wins at Masco in 2016 and last Thursday, sandwiched around last year’s triumph over the Chieftains at Fenway Park.

Everett was paced by Michigan-bound senior Mike Sainristil, who rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in his final game in a Crimson uniform. Sainristil, a three-year starter, helped lead EHS two more than 30 victories and two Super Bowl titles since 2016.

Senior Isaac Seide added two touchdowns and 81 yards on 10 rushes, as the Crimson Tide ground down the Masco defense on by far the coldest day of the season.

Quarterback Dillon Doherty concluded his sophomore season by throwing for 44 yards and scoring on a 6-yard run.

The Crimson Tide defense, which was stout all year long, dominated the Chieftains. The hosts lost a fumble on the first play of the game, leading to Sainristil’s first score of the game. That was indicative of the kind of morning it was for Masco.

EHS led 20-0 at the break, the third quarter was scoreless, and the Tide added two insurance touchdowns in the fourth.
