Officials in the District Attorney’s office have not yet released the name of a 32 year old woman known to the police who was found dead on the sidewalk in front of the home where she had been living on Glendale Street Thursday afternoon.
The death is being investigated as a possible homicide but details remain sketchy and police were hesitant to comment.
Fentanyl may or may not be involved, police said.
There have been 6 reported drug overdoses since November 16 in the city.
This includes a November 16 incident where four younger people were taken to the hospital for what was believed to be a Fentanyl overdose.
Another overdose incident brings to 6 overdoses and one death in the past ten days.
Police said as the holiday comes closer overdoses will rise. “ As the pressures of the holiday build, it leads to more overdoses and senseless crimes. It happens every year and doesn’t really let up until after Christmas,” said an Everett Police officer.
