Lorraine Crafts Callinan Celebrates her 100th Birthday

Lorraine Callinan, a lifelong resident of Everett, who was born here on January 22, 1919, has turned 100.

Mrs. Callinan, throughout a long life, has been known as a kind, compassionate and merciful woman, by those who came to celebrate with her, as well as family and friends.

She came from Hancock Street, from a family of 12. She is the last survivor.

The party was held by Mrs. Callinan’s children and also by Sal Sacramone at the Whitney- Lorenti House.

Among those who came to celebrate with the family was Councilor at Large Wayne Matewsky. He presented Mrs. Callinan with a citation from the city council and a proclamation from the mayor.

Also noted and appreciated was the great number of friends who stopped by on a day when it was icy and below zero. About 60 people attended.
