Matewsky Tops Ticket. Hanlon 2nd, DellIsola 3rd Marchese 4th, Adrien 5th

Councilor at Large Wayne Matewsky topped the ticket in light balloting on Primary Day Tuesday in the at-large primary race.

Incumbent councilors John Hanlon, Richard DellIsola, and Mike Marchese finished 2, 3 and 4 in that order.

Gerly Adrien finished strong at the number 5 position.

Councilor Peter Napolitano was close with the highest voting pack at 6.

Matewsky topped the vote with 1013, Hanlon with 977, DellIsola with 935, Marchese with 911 and Adrien with 900.

Napolitano received 877 votes.

Kay Hicks received 611. Councilor Peter Simonelli finished with 564 votes. Renee Solano with 487. Candidates Joseph LaMonica and James Lavecchio finished with 433 and 285 respectively. Lavecchio lost his bid to be on the ballot in November.

11680 votes were cast for the 11 candidates.

Approximately 3300 blanks were counted by voting officials.
