*For several weeks during the 2019-2020 Everett High School football season, we are showcasing snap shots of newspaper clips from decades into the past, each including some of the biggest names in EHS football history.

In honor of Everett’s ensuing matchup with longtime rival Malden High School Friday night, here’s a snap back to 1994, where fleet-footed quarterback Thang Lam scampered for 130-plus yards, including this 75-yard dash to paydirt in the Crimson Tide’s 43-26 victory over the Golden Tornadoes.
