Mrs. Ruth A. (Lewis) Rogers, died on Friday, October 18th at her home in Saugus. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Rogers.
Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Anastasia (O’Keefe) Lewis. A devoted homemaker and mother, Mrs. Rogers raised her family in Everett before moving to Saugus. As a devout Catholic, she was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Saugus and previously at St. Theresa’s Parish in Everett.
She is survived by her five children, Robert F. Rogers and Jeanne Frassica of Danvers, Patricia Vecchione and her husband George of Everett, Francine A. Rogers and Anibal Teixeira of Peabody, Thomas K. Rogers of Saugus, James M. Rogers and his wife Ann Marie of Derry, NH; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Rogers is also survived by her beloved dogs, Reggie and Baxter.
