John Aronis, 57 passed away at his home in North Carolina on November 5 with his children by his side. John was born on July 11, 1962, in Everett, one of four sons of Ted and his wife Jo Anne Aronis (Pecci). John along with his brothers, was raised in Everett, graduated from Malden Catholic High School,Class of 1980.
John continued his education at the University. of Massachusetts. John worked for Wells Fargo serving the Southeast region as a Vice-President and Account Manager. John loved his children and they brought him great joy. Watching his children grow up to be fine upstanding adults was a sense of great pride to John. He beamed when Nicole graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington, earning a BFA, and when Chris graduated from North Carolina State, earning a BS in accounting, an MBA from Fitchburg State University, and most recently his CPA license. Additionally, he loved it when Nicole bought her own home. He believed that his father Ted had the greatest effect on him as an incredible role model. John loved all sports, especially fishing, target shooting, and of course political discourse. John was a passionate man who believed in his Catholic faith, family values, and he was Pro- American all the way. John will be forever missed, but his faithful, loving and inspiring life will be his legacy. John is survived by his two wonderful children, Nicole Aronis and Christopher Aronis both of North Carolina. John was the son of Ted and Jo Anne Aronis (Pecci). John was the brother of Dr. Michael Aronis of Apalachin, New York and the late Theodore Aronis of Derry, NH and the late James Aronis of Groton.
Funeral Mass was held on last Thursday in Our Lady of Grace Church Chelsea with Father Sheridan officiating. Interment was held in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visiting hours were held at the Murphy OHara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett.
