You may have heard of Everett boxing legend Richie “The Mountain” LaMontagne or even recent Golden Gloves champ Ryan Pietrantonio, but have you heard of these other Everett fighters, Shayna Foppiano and Raquel Santos?
If not, now’s your chance to find out just what these tough women are all about.
On Saturday November 23 at the Twin River Casino Hotel In Rhode Island, you can catch a seat to what promises to be a classic Everett showdown.
The lightweight fight, scheduled for four rounds, will be the 5th fight of the evening.
Foppiano owns a professional career record of 1-0-1 with her first win coming by knockout. And recent videos of her sparring on the internet show a physically fit fighter ready to rumble with power.
Santos, who also brings along KO power, will be making her professional debut. She trains and lives in Everett like Fappiano.
Also on the card for the scheduled 10-round main event, former champion and “The Pride of Providence”, Peter Manfredo Jr. (40-7-1, 21 KOs), who will be taking on Melvin Russell (11-7-2, 7 KOs) of Kentucky.
If you can’t make it in person, UFC Fight Pass is airing it live online.
Tickets for the boxing showcase can be purchased at CESBoxing.com or ShowClix.com
