
Trump tops for Everett Repubs

In extremely light balloting on a beautiful, unusually mild and sunny, late winter day, Senator Bernie Sanders won the city of Everett over former Vice-President Joe Biden, 1,948-1,521.
Senator Elizabeth Warren came in third with 739 and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg came in fourth with 511.
Eighty-two Everett voters cast a vote for Pete Buttigieg, 61 for Deval Patrick, 42 for Tulsi Gabbard, and Amy Klobuchar got 32, Tom Steyer 22, Andrew Yang got nine, Cory Booker three, and Julian Castro, one.

On the Republican side, President Donald Trump topped the ticket.
He received 720 votes.
A very distant second was former Governor Bill Weld. He received 37 votes. Trump received 90% of the Republican vote.
About 6,000 voted for their favorite presidential candidate.
There are 20,000 registered voters in the city.
