The Cambridge Health Alliance hospital is experiencing an overflow in the emergency ward and in its ICU ward. The hospital is crowded, and according to staffers, straining to take care of the crush of people.
What makes this all the worse, is that the virus will not peak for another two weeks or longer. At that point, the hospital will likely not be able to service everyone going there for medical attention.
A Channel 5 report on television last week detailed a view from inside the hospital by one of its physicians.
There is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide from this virus.
