Loved large family
Lillian Spaulding (Dupont) 97, passed away on April 30,2020 at Bear Mountain Nursing Facility in Reading.
Lillian was born in Everett on September 25,1922 one of four children of the late Thomas and Margaret (Dobbins) Dupont. Lillian grew up in Everett. She married her beloved husband Ralph and together they raised their three children. Lillian’s son said that his mother loved everyone who came into her home and into her life.
The list of whom Lillian loved was enormous but if she knew you, she loved you. Lillian was amazing, kind and dedicated to her family and friends with her kind, warm and caring spirit. She took pride in her children’s accomplishments. Besides caring for her family, Lillian worked in retail at Sparks Department Store in Malden. She was the loving wife of the late Ralph Spaulding who predeceased Lillian in 1970 and she was cherished mother of Ronald of NH, Peg Almeida of Peabody, Richard of Everett and the late William Maggs. She was the sister of the late Charlie, George and Edith.
She was the loving aunt of the late Carl Dupont. Lillian was the proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and Nina and Becky and all that called her Nana.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions services were private and the burial took place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett.
