Loving mother
Mary D Twyman (Straighter), 92, a resident of Malden, passed away in her home surrounded by the love and devotion of her family on June 12.
Mary was born on September 14, 1927 in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Mary married her sweetheart, Joseph Louis Twyman, in upstate New York. It wasn’t too long before they moved to the Boston area and settled in Malden. They shared 55 years together raising their family. Mary worked hard her whole life with different jobs while still working at raising her family.
She was the loving mother of Jerome, Robert and his wife Patricia and the late Gary Twyman. Dee, as she was affectionately known as, was the proud grandmother of Robert Jr, Aleesha, Aiesha and Chris- tian and great grandmother of Angel, Adriel, G’Zaylee and Jaylah. Dee was also the sister of Pearl. She is also survived by a niece Lmie and many great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held on Monday at the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett on Monday. Burial followed at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
