State Senator Sal DiDomenico showed his popularity citywide on Primary Day by scoring a huge vote.
When the totals were counted Tuesday evening, DiDomenico had 4963 votes.
His battle was not against an opponent.
His battle was against apathy.
Only 968 voters chose not to vote for him and left his name blank.
DiDomenico relied mainly on his high profile public service persona – that is – being seen everywhere all the time and maintaining close relationships with voters all over the city.
