Barbara A Murphy, 95, passed away on September 19 at Citrus Health and Rehabilitation Center in Florida. Barbara was born in East Boston on July 28, 1925. Barbara was the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Driscoll) Keough.
Barbara grew up in Everett and graduated from Everett High School. She made her home in Everett with her husband where they raised their seven children. Besides having many side jobs, Barbara’s main job was as a housewife and raising her seven children. Barbara was a lifelong
Everett resident until in 1999 and at the age of 75 when she moved to Florida with her daughter Jo Brendola. Barbara was the loving mother of Jo Brendola of Florida, Marie
Bontempo, Mark Kaminski, Jane Kaminski, Shawn Murphy, and the late James Murphy. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were private. Interment was held in Holy Cross Cemetery with Rev. Joseph Chacha Marwa of the Immaculate Conception Everett on October 27. Arrangements by The Murphy O’Hara Funeral home.
