Loving mother

Lilliam Herrera Lebron, 79, a longtime Everett resident, passed away at her
home surrounded by the love and adoration of her family on October 20. Lilliam
was born in Chinandega, Nicaragua on April 2, 1942, one of three children of the late Jacinto Herrera and Bertilda Lebron.

Lilliam married her love, the late Alfonso Reyes Moreno, who predeceased her in 2015, and together, Alfonso and Lilliam raised their three children. Lilliam’s proudest moments were being with her family. Lilliam loved her family and her husband and being with them was her greatest joy. Her family stated that Lilliam’s husband Alfonso was a positive and wonderful influence on her life. Together, Alfonso and Lilliam raised their three children. Besides her family, the other important and proud accomplishment in Lilliam’s life was when she became a US Citizen.

She was the beloved wife of the late Alfonso and the loving mother of Afonso Reyes and Mercedes Reyes both of Everett. She was the sister of Thelma Herrera of Boston and Estela Herrera of Nicaragua. She is also survived by her grandchild, Katherine.

Funeral Services were held at the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett with Deacon Franklin Mejia of Sacred Heart Parish in Malden.
