Just as there were no apologies coming from the city council to Councilor Gerly Adrien for attacking her at the meeting two weeks ago, there was no mention among the councilors about the missing video of the previous council meeting that has been erased, lost, or stolen.
A search and investigation have now entered its second week without an announcement of any kind from the city about the disposition of the case.
According to the mayor’s office, the State Police and the Attorney General’s office have been notified.
Some city hall sources claim that the perpetrator is well known but that so far no one has admitted erasing or stealing the videotape.
The meeting was covered with great detail by the Everett Leader Herald and the Everett Independent.
The votes were also memo- rialized by the City Clerk and remain intact.
