At the end of December, Devens school student Christina Troville died following complications from a lung transplant operation.
A moment of silence was observed for Christina before the start of Monday evening’s School Committee meeting.
She was described by those who knew her as a ray of bright light, an inquisitive young girl taken down at an early age by impossible medical complexities that were too hard to overcome.
We did not know Christina, but we know this as parents… that her mother has been reduced to a state of deep despair over such a great loss.
Losing a child so young is a tragedy quite unlike any other.
We offer our condolences and our prayers to the Troville family and to everyone touched by this young girl whose life was cut short.
If only man were God and we could bring her back again.
