New England sports fans are awaiting with great interest, Super Bowl LV on Sunday featuring Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.
Brady’s tenth appearance in a Super Bowl contest is far different than before because he’s not wearing a Patriot’s uniform. The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) playing against one of the National Football League’s great rising stars Patrick Mahomes, pits two great stars against one another for all the beans.
The only difference between the GOAT and Mahomes?
About 20 years!
Brady today is what the great former Boston Globe columnist Mike Barnicle described thusly: an old man playing a kid’s game.
Mahomes is on the rise. Brady is in his star-studded twilight.
