School Committee representatives will be receiving $12,500 a year in 2021, and $15,000 a year in 2026 as a result of a vote of the City Council taken Monday night during its Zoom meeting.
Only Councilor Mike Marchese voted against the measure, which came out of committee with the approval of chair Councilor Anthony DiPierro.
The salary increase was expected.
School Committee members receive nowhere near the $25,000 a year that councilors receive.
