Can he survive this time around?

One of the really compelling questions about the mayor’s candidacy is whether or not he can survive the public scrutiny of his private life and get elected again.

Or let’s put it this way. Does the mayor want his sexual harassment history debated publicly all over the city and in law enforcement circles once this campaign gets going? Let’s face it, he will have to answer charges that he is a serial sexual harasser.

This will be brought up again and again until Primary Day.

The mayor has somehow escaped the # Me Too movement which has ruined many a political career.

This election effort will show if the mayor can take it, or he realizes he ought to bow out and call it a day to spare himself the embarrassment of having to answer charges alleging sexual harassment and payoffs to those whose silence he may have bought.
