Paul J. Noonan

Loved by family, known for ice cream truck

Paul J. Noonan of Wakefield, formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly, in the Bear Hill Healthcare in Stoneham/Wakefield, Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

He was 79 years old.

Born in Everett, Paul graduated from the Everett Vocational High School. He was a retired correctional officer from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts corrections department.

A face that could always be seen at school events, playgrounds, and other Everett activities aiding and helping the youth in the city of Everett. Hearing the bells or music from Noonan’s Ice Cream truck was always a welcoming sound.

Beloved husband of Barbara J. (Christensen). Dear and devoted father of Kevin Noonan and his. wife, Maria of Wakefield, and the late Scott Noonan. Dear brother of Leona Noonan and Virginia Noonan of Everett, and the late John Noonan, Corrine Heise, and Geraldine Noonan. Loving and proud grandfather of Darius Noonan.

Private family viewing was at the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) Everett, Tuesday, May 11 followed by his funeral Mass in St. Pat- rick’s Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham.
