Elaine G. (Pietrantoni) Leuci, formerly of Chelmsford, Burlington, and Everett, passed away at home on May 26, 2021, at the age of 82.
Elaine was born and raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1958, and the Stenotype Institute in Boston.
She was a full-time mother and Office Manager and Administrator for the family plumbing business.
Elaine was a former member of St. Anthony’s Church in Everett for many years and enjoyed skiing, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, cake decorating, cooking, and baking. She also loved taking family road trips, gardening, woodworking and refinishing, holiday decorating, and going to yard sales.
Elaine was an animal lover and rescuer and most of all enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren.
Elaine was the loving daughter of the late William and Mildred (Andrews) Leuci. Devoted mother of Johnny P. Anthony and his wife Shawna of Charlemont, Edward Pietrantoni of Chelmsford, Laura Jean Pietrantoni, and Joanne Marie MacKenzie, both of Upton. Caring sister of William Leuci and his late wife Janet of Saugus, Rita Treadwell and her husband Huey of MD and Mildred P.H. DeMarco and her husband Ronald of Marlborough, and the late Gertrude Jodrey and her late husband Arthur. Grandmother of Rubin, William, and Gianna. Lifelong best friend of Joanne Marie Luongo of Everett. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visiting hours were held at the Gately Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 2. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, June 4, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
