Riding a 2-game win streak, the Lady Tide are above .500 for the first time this season.

With shutout wins over Malden (16-0) and Chelsea (15-0), they’re now sitting at 3-2 ahead of the GBL’s inter-league tournament scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Revere.

The Everett bats and pitchers have heated up during the win streak, posting 31 runs and allowing none during the frame. In the June 2 in over Malden, Celeste Fuccillo led the way with 7 K’s over five innings and in the June 3 win over Chelsea sophomore Kristi Skane provided 4 innings of relief that included 10 K’s.

Due to the MIAA heat index policy, Monday’s matchup against Lynn Classical was postponed. The make-up game is scheduled for 4:30PM on Tuesday, June 15 at Glendale Park. Everett will honor its seniors before the start of the game.

The Lady Tide will get one more game in before the start of the GBL’s weekend tourney as they travel to Lynn English tomorrow for a 4PM first pitch.
