The pride and spirit of the Everett High School football tradition overflowed into college footballs nationally televised 2021 Orange Bowl competition, where former Crimson Tide standout defensive back Lewis Cine and stud wide receiver Mike Sainristil faced-off against each other for the first time.

Cine’s Bulldogs finished on top of Sainristil’s Wolverines, 34-11, but both players provided boost to their respective programs.

Sainristil, who plays wide receiver, was targeted once in the game and made the grab for 10 yards. Cine, who plays defensive back, could be seen flying all over the field and undoubtedly impacted the outcome of the College Football Playoff (CFP) semifinal game, finishing second on the team with 4 solo tackles (5 total).

The No. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs (13-1) and Lewis Cine will play top-ranked Alabama (13-1) in College Football’s National Championship game on Monday, January 10 at 8PM.
