Few cities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are more renowned for their high school sports programs than Everett.
Coming off the heels of a surprising 2022, the Tide hopes to ramp things up a bit with the kickoff
of their 2022-2023 fall sports season this Saturday at 10AM at Sacramone Park.
At that event there will be free lunch and slush for all athletes and families. There will
also be a punt, pass, and kick contest, face painting, corn hole, yard pong and various
other assorted games.
At the center of the day will be a kickball contest between first responders and Tide athletes. Contestants must be 8+ to play and can sign up at the main hut.
A young Crimson Tide football team looks to bounce back this year after a heart-breaking loss against Methuen in the first round of the MIAA playoffs in what was a cold 25-22 upset.
The first football game of the season will be against longtime rival Xaverian on Friday, September 9th at 7pm at Veteran’s Memorial Stadium.
The first game for the year for the boys soccer team will be Thursday September 8th at
6:15pm in Everett at 7 Acre park.
August 31st is the first day of school for Everett. Teams can officially begin practice per MIAA regulations on August 19th.
They will have conditioning and limited contact practices for five combined days before they begin
full contact. That type of conditioning includes running, leg lifts, knee highs, suicides and other high intensity cardio workouts.
