Crimson Tide Handle GBL Rival Revere

Cap 4-game Win Streak

By Lorenzo Recupero

The Crimson Tide are inching closer to the playoffs and a top-seeding with the 41-13 win over Greater Boston League counterpart Revere High School on Friday.

Since losing week one, the Tide (4-1) have been playing on another level than their competitors, posting 40 points per game on offense while giving up just 7 points defensively in their last four matches.

To put their resurgence in perspective, the Tide have allowed 29 combined points in their last four games compared to the 49 points they gave up week one.

With three games remaining on the schedule, and currently in second place in the GBL behind Lynn Classical (4-1), Everett will most likely need to win the final three games of the regular season to be postseason eligible. All three match- ups are against GBL teams, including Medford, Malden, and Lynn Classical.

Everett will try to make it five straight wins Friday, October 14 at Medford High School (6 p.m. kickoff).
