Balloons in the sky over America

Many a science fiction movie has begun with objects appearing in the skies over the great nations of the earth with people craning their necks to look up at them and wondering, “Oh my, what could this be?”

This is always a precursor to thousands of objects appearing in the sky and the following alien invasion and battle for earth’s sur- vival and the dystopian future that always follow.

Why then, on this basis alone, have the Joint Chiefs of Staff and others in the national security apparatus allowed balloons – some as long and as heavy as three 18 wheel trucks – to hover over our airspace unimpeded until last week?

Good question isn’t it.

These balloons might represent Trojan Horses of sorts.

The Trojan Horse was a huge hollow wooden horse constructed by the ancient Greeks to gain entrance into Troy during the Trojan War. The horse was built by Epeius, a master carpenter and pugilist. The Greeks, pretending to desert the war, sailed to the nearby island of Tenedos, leaving behind Sinon, who persuaded the Trojans that the horse was an offering to Athena (goddess of war) that would make Troy impregnable. Despite the warnings of Laocoön and Cassandra, the horse was taken inside the city gates. That night Greek warriors emerged from it and opened the gates to let in the returned Greek army.

These balloons now being shot out of the sky represent Trojan Horses or something possibly more sinister and evil but we are being told our military has everything under control.

Does our military have these balloons under control or are we out of control allowing these balloons to fly over our nation’s air space at a height of 40,000 – 60,000 feet.

We are not ones to order the calling out of the fleet on a lark.

In this instance, however, whatever we find flying over us that we have not launched or control should be immediately shot down for our own protection.

If the Joint Chiefs of Staff don’t understand this, then we’re in big trouble.
