
Thomas Ralph Pasquerella passed away on April 17th at Noble Hospital in Westfield, Massachusetts. Tom was born in Everett, Massachusetts on February 27, 1937. He was a retired Agawam Middle School and Robinson Park Elementary School teacher. Prior to his teaching career Tom served seven years in the United States Air Force.
In 1967, Tom and his wife Charlotte moved to Western Massachusetts to begin their teaching careers in Agawam and Westfield respectively. Together, they also hosted foreign exchange students from Italy. Tom was a life long member of the Kiwanis in West Springfield. He loved his many dogs, especially his very last one, Buddy! Tom enjoyed his monthly game of poker with his card group of 45 years. After retirement, Tom volunteered at the Shriners Hospital in Springfield. He loved to amuse the children by reading books to them and taking on the roles of the many characters in unique and special ways, he always left them laughing!
He leaves his wife Charlotte of 53 years, three brothers; Hank of Reading, Robert and his wife Anna of Haverhill and Richard and his wife Carolyn of Feeding Hills along with many nieces and nephews. Tom was especially grateful to his niece Susan Pasquerella Catellotti, who devoted much time and care to her Uncle Tom in his final years.
