ROSEANN M. CIULLA

We are sad to announce the passing of Roseann Ciulla of Revere, age 68, who died on Wednesday, June 14th at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She passed away surrounded by her loving family after a complicated illness.

Roseann was the devoted daughter of the late Accursio “Gus” Ciulla & Agnes (Sutera) Ciulla of Everett. She was the loving sister of Angela M. Biggie & her late husband Francis “Frank” of Melrose (formerly of Revere) and the late Thomas L. Ciulla of Lynn. She is the cherished aunt of Thomas G. Ciulla & wife Lilian of Danvers, Keri A. Russo & husband Gennaro of Revere, and Brian M. Biggie & his wife Sandra of West Haven, CT. She is the treasured great aunt of Devin Russo, Tyler Russo, & Gabriel Biggie. Also lovingly survived by her former sister-in-law, Angela Ciulla of Danvers.

Roseann was born in Malden on June 30, 1954. She was the youngest of three children, raised & educated in Everett and graduated from Everett High School, class of 1972. Roseann worked primarily in the insurance industry where she was the receptionist for Coverys (ProMutual) in Boston for over 25 years before retiring. She was a longtime resident of Everett and moved to her home Revere in her later years. Roseann was a kind and generous soul and doted on her niece, nephews and grand nephews. Family was most important to her, especially caring for her mother Agnes who lived to be 101 years old. Her family and friends will miss her dearly and cherish their many fond memories of her. She will forever be missed by her fur baby “Sicily”.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, June 20th from 3-7 pm in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza Beechwood Home for Funerals at 262 Beach St. Revere. A funeral will be conducted from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 21st at 9 am, followed by a funeral mass at 10 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 250 Revere St. Revere. Interment will be held privately.
