Sheriff’s Office warns of IRS and jury duty scam calls

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian today issued a reminder to residents to be aware of ongoing IRS and jury duty scams.

“We are issuing this reminder because we have seen an uptick in calls being reported to our office over the past several days. We want residents to be aware of these scams in order to better protect themselves,” said Sheriff Koutoujian. “Recently, both my mother and I, personally received IRS scam calls and though we each recognized they were not legitimate and immediately hung up – not all do because many of these perpetrators can be extremely convincing.” Continue reading Sheriff’s Office warns of IRS and jury duty scam calls

2018 Residential Parking Stickers Are Now Available

Mayor Carlo DeMaria and the Office of the Parking Clerk would like to notify residents to obtain their residential parking stickers.

Vehicle owners must visit the website https://everettparking. cityhallsystems.com and submit an online application in order to receive their stickers. Once the online application is complete, stickers will then be mailed directly to the resident. A link to the parking sticker website will also be available on the City’s official website, cityofeverett. com as well as the City’s Facebook Page.

As a courtesy, from January 2nd to Febraury 28th, stickers may still be obtained for FREE. Then, beginning March 1st, the $10, per sticker, fee will once again be reinstated.
