Everett: Are You Ready to Be ‘Scared Safe?’

The Everett Police Department in conjunction with Everett Kiwanis is again running its Bike Safety Halloween Day . It will occur this Saturday October 27 from 1-3 PM at Glendale Park and invites all students and guardians from grades kindergarten through grade 5.

The first 100 youngsters will receive free fitted bike helmets and safety training from Everett’s Finest. Wear your Halloween costume and you might win a bike! Refreshments and gifts will be provided to all Everett ‘s youngsters.

Everett E-Club Club’s Bocce Tournament Set for September 22

The Everett E-Club of Everett Executive Director Vincent Ragucci and President Carl Colson are happy to announce its first annual Bocce Tournament to sustain its scholarship fund for Student-Athletes at Everett High School, who plans to continue his or her education. The Everett E-Club has given Scholarships since 1973.

Sensory Story Time

August’s Sensory Story Time at the Parlin Memorial Library will be on Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 am. Sensory Story Time is especially for those children who have difficulty interacting in large groups.

Songs, stories and activities are chosen to encourage participation and movement. All ages and abilities are welcome! The program is free, and there is no registration required. Please call the Parlin Library at (617) 394-2306 for more information.
