ROBERT TRUFANT
Born and Raised in Everett, Worked at AVCO

Robert F. Trufant, 66, of North Attleboro passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Paula (Vaillancourt) Trufant who died in 2010.

Born April 1, 1951 in Everett, he was a son of Ralph S. Trufant, Jr. of Everett and the late Josephine (Perry) Trufant who died earlier this year.

Robert grew up in Everett and was a 1969 graduate of Everett High School. He attended a year of trade school after high school and then began work as a carpenter. He worked at AVCO in Everett for many years and then with several local builders before becoming self-employed over 20 years ago. He has been a resident of North Attleboro since 1987.

Robert loved spending time with his family and enjoyed travelling, particularly to Disney and to North Carolina to see his daughter’s family. Robert’s work ethic and sense of humor will be sorely missed. He was always there for his family and friends, you could always count on him to get it done, “the right way.”

In addition to his father, he is survived by three children: Stephanie Taggart and husband Doug of Willow Spring, NC, Michael Trufant and wife Megan of Seekonk, and Mark Trufant and wife Jessica of North Attleboro. He was blessed with four grandchildren: Alexys Trufant, Nolan Taggart, Sage Trufant, and Evelyn Taggart.

Robert leaves behind his twin brother, Richard Trufant and wife Marguerite of Peabody, and five other siblings: Christine Trufant of Everett, Dolores Barones and husband Jules of Rockland, Joan Paradis and husband Chuck of Chandler, AZ, Joyce Tilley and husband Doug of Gilbert, AZ, Doreen Kennedy and husband Bill of Hanson, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his in-laws Adelaide and Fernand Vaillancourt of North Attleboro.

Beloved wife of the late Sydney Feldman with whom she shared 50 years of marriage. Loving and devoted mother of Sherry Lanzilli, Candice Feldman, Gale Pisapia and her husband Fred, and the late baby Michael Joseph Feldman. Cherished grandmother of Lawrence Lanzilli and his wife Brenda, and Maria Abraham and her husband James. Adored Great Nana of Lorenzo, Carter and Joseph Lanzilli. Theresa was the dear sister of Marie Santora and the late Anthony Christoforo

She was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1945. She loved music, singing, playing the piano and enjoyed crocheting. Theresa was an excellent cook and a devoted homemaker who gave of herself tirelessly and generously. Her greatest joy in life was the love she had for her family.

Beloved sister of Beatrice Marchant and her husband Thomas and the late Rita Stanley who is survived by her husband Richard. She is survived by her two loving grandchildren Jessica Rollins and Joseph Canning as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Active Member of the Immaculate Conception Parish

Mary WalshMary Walsh (McLellan) 97, a life-long resident of Everett passed away on January 2 at Woodbriar Health Center i n Wilmington. Mary was born on June 10, 1920 in Everett and she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Flynn) McLellan. Mary was raised in Everett and graduated from St Mary’s High School in Cambridge.

On May 18, 1943, Mary married her late husband John and together they raised their three children in Everett. Mary was active in her community and church. She was a member of Catholic Daughters and an active member of the Immaculate Conception Parish. Mary set the bar incredibly high as a mother to her three children and was exceptional role model to her 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late John Walsh and loving mother of John Wash and his late wife Ruth Ann of Wakefield, Paul Walsh of Everett and the late Eileen Harrington.

She is the grandmother of John Walsh and his wife Loren of Wakefield, Brendan Walsh and his wife Jennifer of Reading, Brian Walsh and his wife Stacey of Wilmington, Stephen Harrington and his wife Leah of Reading, David Harrington and his wife Donna of Acton and Caitlin and her husband Kenneth Jeffery of Plymouth. Mary is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass was held on Monday in the Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Murphy O’Hara Funeral Home 519 Broadway Everett. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery.
