O’BRIEN, James “Jim” Joseph of Everett, entered into rest on Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018 in the Life Care of Stoneham. He was 79 years old.

Born in Everett, Jim remained a lifelong resident.
He graduated from Everett High School, Class of 1957 and Burdett College with an Associates Degree, Class of 1959. He was retired from the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles as a data processor. Jim also served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

Beloved son of the late James R. and Gertrude L. (Grassa) O’Brien. Dear and devoted brother of Richard “Dick” Francis O’Brien of Washington, DC. Jim is also the loving uncle of Catherine Lynch O’Brien and Miles Edward O’Brien and his wife, Sara Fitzgerald O’Brien and great-uncle of Everett Y. O’Brien, Oliver G. O’Brien and Cassidy L. O’Brien. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jim’s visiting hours in the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home, 65 Clark St. (Corner of Main St.) EVERETT, Monday, April 2 from 4-7 p.m.

His funeral will be from the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 487 Broadway, Everett at 10 a.m. Interment Glenwood Cemetery, Everett. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim’s memory to the Immaculate Conception Church “Restoration Fund” 489 Broadway, Everett, MA 02149, would be sincerely appreciated. Longtime Rotarian, Business Owner

David LerayLeRAY, David J., Sr. of Alfred, ME., formerly of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine. He was 89 years old.

David was born in Everett and was a longtime resident before settling in Maine these last several years. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University.

Loving husband of his high school sweetheart, the late Barbara (MacKenzie) LeRay. Sorely missed by his children, David LeRay, Jr. and Peter LeRay and his wife, Mary of Everett, Linda Villalobos and her husband, Fran of Newburyport and Susan LeRay and her husband, Bill Wright of Alfred, ME. Also loved and missed by his twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. At David’s request, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oakes Road, Waltham, MA 02452 would be sincerely appreciated.

David was the past owner and manager of the Sudbury Brass Goods specializing in church goods and past treasurer of the Chelsea Rotary Club, having been named Rotarian of the Year in 1980.

HART, William A. of Everett, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the CHA-Everett after a brief illness. Bill was 87 years old.

William HartBorn in Everett, Bill was a lifelong resident. He was a machinist retiring from G.E. Everett after many years of service. Bill enjoyed politics and for many years you would see Bill and Dolores at many political venues.

Beloved husband of the late Dolores M. (Coviello). Dear and devoted father of William D. “Billy” Hart and Kim A. Hart of Everett. Brother of Phyllis Brady of Everett and the late Lillian Toto, Gordon, Alan, Robert and Ernest Hart. Loving grandfather of Danielle M. and Gabrielle M. Hart of Everett. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
