Did we ever mention we are the eldest running newspaper in Everett? If you can’t believe it, just check out this week’s Gridiron Flashback going way back to 1936. Featured in this blast from the past are the undefeated (9-0) Crimson Tide of yesteryear. This version of the Tide were led by the “fleet footed” tandem of Bobby Bell and Al Romboli, who both scored 8 touchdowns on the season. And before you turn away, pause for just one second and give credit to the designer of those snazzy throwback jerseys!
