Due to an unintentional mathematical error placing a decimal point in the wrong place, the Leader Herald wrote in this week’s edition that the mayor’s Chief of Staff Kevin O’Donnell was making $800 an hour for 18.5 hours a week of work. His annualized part-time salary was $80,000 a year.
His hourly salary should have been listed as approximately $80.00 and hour, not $800. In addition, the Leader Herald reported O’Donnell’s part-time salary had been reduced by $40,000 for 18.5 weeks. This is correct. That his hourly salary is now $400 an hour is incorrect. We regret the error. His hourly salary has been reduced to approximately $40.00 an hour for his 18.5 part time weekly wage.
