More than 200 men, women and children, the friends of the late Thaddeus Baxter, attended a fundraising event for his family.
About 50 fire fighters with their spouses and girlfriends or family members and friends of the Baxter’s got together en masse at the American Legion Hall 101 in Woburn for the evening affair which took place Saturday.

Friday in Woburn at Legion Post 101 at 194 Lexington Street from 7-11p.m. there will be a benefit honoring the life of Thad Baxter, an Everett fire fighter and veteran, who passed away recently.
We congratulate firefighters Paul Dalrymple and Ronald Simonelli.
Both men deserve the great honor they received, appointments that speak to their professionalism and their devotion to the Everett Fire Department.

Cafasso’s Funeral home will be packed to capacity Wednesday for the wake of Thaddeus Baxter, Jr.
Visiting hours are 4-8.
He will be buried with full military honors Thursday morning following a funeral mass in St. Charles Barromeo Church in Woburn.
Interment in Woburn’s Woodbrook Cemetery will follow.
One of Everett’s best known and highly respected firefighters died unexpectedly on November 9.
Mr. Baxter was 43.
