Back in the 1950’s we still had the draft. This photo was taken on October 8, 1958 just before shipping out. Pictured here are (back row), Mayor Crowley, Joe Raso, Ed D’Onofrio, Ducky Adiletto, Tony Pinto, (front row) Lou Bourgeois, Stan Ruggiero, John (Inky) Doherty, and Alden Walsh. A big shout out to Director of Veterans Services Jeanne Cristiano for getting the names of the draftees.

For many years Everett High School had a Gilbert and Sullivan Society, who produced a G & S operetta every year. Here is the cast of the 1951 production “Yeoman of the Guard”. It was a long time ago, but maybe you might recognize a relative, a friend, or maybe even yourself!
