Last week, Senator Sal DiDomenico (D-Everett) and his colleagues in the Massachusetts Legislature passed a sweeping $1 billion Economic Development Bill, calling for targeted investments in workforce training programs and job creation through ambitious public infrastructure projects. Senator DiDomenico led a number of amendments to the Senate version of the bill, and secured $4.5 million for infrastructure improvement projects for the city of Everett in the nal version of the bill that was passed by the Legislature. In addition, Senator DiDomenico also secured an additional $4.5 million for the Beacham Street project in Chelsea that will bene t many Everett residents traveling through this important corridor.
